| Butterfield
Center for Business & Industry is a 900-acre, 17 million square foot
multi-use park located at Route 59 and I-88 in Western DuPage County, Aurora,
Illinois. It is being developed as a joint venture between Opus North Corporation,
The Levy Organization and Development Resources, Inc.
Butterfield has successfully combined business and industry with recreational uses and environmental preservation to create a business park that enhances the work environment for its corporate residents. Colliers Bennett & Kahnweiler Inc. is the exclusive marketing agent for the Butterfield Center for Business & Industry. The I-88 Corridor is one of the fastest growing areas for industry and research in the Chicagoland area. Butterfield offers more than 5,500 feet of tollway frontage and is adjacent to Route 59, Eola and Butterfield Roads. Eola has recently been improved by the County to a major four-lane divided highway. Ingress and egress to the park will be further enhanced with the planned completion of a four-way interchange at Eola Road and I-88. Additionally, the reconfiguration and realignment of Ferry Road from two lanes to four lanes with a median has been completed to accommodate future growth in the area. Additional phases of the master plan include the development of industrial, office, research and development and retail property to serve park tenants. It is anticipated that upon completion, more than 5,000 new jobs will be created through the development and leasing efforts.
